Monodrama based on the memoirs of a Holocaust survivor
As part of the REM HERITAGE project, secondary school students watched the one-woman play *The Corn Princess*, performed by Katarzyna Tarkowska-Żogała and based on the memoirs of Holocaust survivor Mira Krum-Ledowska.
This moving performance allowed the audience to gain a deep understanding of the experiences associated with the Holocaust, combining historical testimony with a powerful emotional impact.
Throughout the hour-long performance, the auditorium remained completely silent, which testified to the pupils’ engagement and concentration.
The event prompted reflection on the importance of remembrance, empathy and historical awareness.
