Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

REM Heritage is committed to promoting equal access to information, knowledge and educational resources.

We believe that digital accessibility is an important part of inclusion and equal participation.

KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre, as the operator of the REM Heritage website, aims to make https://remheritageproject.eu/ accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process and are committed to identifying and addressing barriers that may affect the user experience.

2. Accessibility Standards

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), provide internationally recognised recommendations for improving the accessibility of digital content.

REM Heritage uses these guidelines, particularly WCAG Level AA requirements, as a reference for improving website accessibility.

The website has not yet undergone a comprehensive formal accessibility assessment.

Consequently, KMOP does not currently claim verified conformity with a specific WCAG version or conformance level.

3. Website Accessibility

The website is designed to provide information about REM Heritage activities, publications, educational materials and project results through a responsive, multilingual interface.

Its primary content is available in English, Greek and Polish.

We aim to support clear content organisation, readable text, understandable navigation and interaction through commonly used browsers and devices.

Accessibility improvements will be considered as part of ongoing website maintenance and content updates.

4. Potential Accessibility Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content or functionality may not yet be fully accessible to all users.

Potential limitations may include:

These are potential areas for review rather than findings from a completed accessibility audit.

We will seek to improve accessibility where feasible and encourage visitors to report any difficulties they encounter.

5. Third-Party Content

The website may include or link to content provided by YouTube, Vimeo, social media platforms, educational institutions, archives and other external organisations.

KMOP may not have direct control over the accessibility of all externally hosted content.

Where practical, we will consider alternative ways of accessing essential information.

6. Feedback and Accessibility Requests

We welcome feedback from visitors who encounter accessibility barriers when using the website.

If you experience difficulties accessing information or functionality, please contact:

Email: info@remheritageproject.eu

When reporting an accessibility issue, it would be helpful to include:

We will review accessibility requests and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Where possible, we will seek to provide the requested information in an alternative accessible format.

7. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an important part of the REM Heritage project's broader commitment to inclusion, participation and equal opportunities.

KMOP aims to review accessibility issues as they are identified and consider appropriate improvements during future website updates.

This Accessibility Statement may be revised following accessibility assessments, technical changes or significant updates to the website.
